New Social Media Linking Requirement: What Creators Need to Know
Starting August 14, 2025, Wowzi creators will need to have programmatically linked their social media accounts before they can submit campaign posts. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to make your Wowzi experience faster, easier, and more rewarding.
Why This Change Matters
We’ve listened to your feedback and identified ways to make the platform work better for you. Linking your accounts means:
- No more manual proof uploads — your posts are tracked automatically.
- Campaign approvals happen faster.
- Payments reach you sooner.
- Errors and disputes are drastically reduced.
- You spend less time on admin and more time creating.
This change also supports our move towards a product-led platform — where technology does the heavy lifting for you.
How to Link Your Social Media Accounts
Follow these steps to get set up:
- Update your Wowzi Creator App to the latest version.
- Log in to your Wowzi Creator App.
Navigate to Settings → Socials.
Select the platform(s) you want to link. - Read the instructions on what you need to have completed before attempting the connection.
- Follow the prompts — each platform has its own flow.
- Authorize the necessary access.
- Review permissions and confirm.
- Link your posts directly within campaigns.
Important: You will not be able to submit posts until your accounts are linked.
